A Special Thank You

To Jason, Shelice, Dixie, Emily, and Allyson:

Before Living in the And makes its way into the world, I wanted to take a moment to thank the people who helped me get it there.

When I first shared this manuscript with you, I was sharing something deeply personal. These weren't simply words on a page. They were pieces of my life, my faith, my questions, my struggles, and the lessons I've learned along the way. Inviting you into that process required a little vulnerability and a whole lot of trust. And you honored both.

Your encouragement, your honesty, your thoughtful feedback, and your willingness to spend time with these words helped shape this book into what it has become. Some of you challenged me to think differently. Some of you helped me find clarity when I couldn't quite get the words right. And all of you reminded me, in your own ways, why I wanted to write this book in the first place.

I hope you know how much that means to me.

As a small expression of my gratitude, I've created this private page just for you. Below, you'll find access to the finished manuscript of Living in the And: Finding Christ in the Unfinished Places of Our Lives. This is the completed book, incorporating the revisions, reflections, and finishing touches that came after your initial reading.

Before you dive in, I have just one small favor to ask. Because this is a private advance copy, I'd appreciate your keeping both this page and the manuscript to yourselves rather than sharing the link or book with others. The book will soon be available to everyone, and I'd love for people to discover it through its official release. This little space, however, is something I wanted to reserve especially for the people who helped bring it to life.

Please know that this request comes from a place of gratitude and trust, not restriction. You've already given me something far more valuable than I could ever repay: your time, your perspective, your encouragement, and your belief in this project.

There is something wonderfully fitting about the fact that a book about finding Christ in the unfinished places of our lives was itself made better by people willing to walk alongside me while it was unfinished.

Thank you for being part of my And.

With love and gratitude,
Jere
